Gas Shortage is Charlotte?
I'm currently in raleigh right now... and was planning to come home but after hearing about how some gas station are temporarily closed due to gas shortages, i'm having second thoughts. I dont think I come to charlotte and back to raleigh with just have a tank of gas. Plus I can't afford not to come back on monday.
There would not have been a gas shortage in Charlotte if everyone hadn't panicked and run to the gas stations to fill-up.
That being said, I just filled up the Accord with Premium, as it looks like most places are out of regular and mid-grade.
If your driving the S, I don't think you'll have a problem finding gas

On the news this morning, they estimated only 20% of the stations were out of gas. There really weren't any long lines at the stations I passed on the way home yesterday (unlike Wednesday), but be warned....you'll pay $3.49/gallon for premium. Good luck!

Same thing happened in Maryland too. Some one started a rumor that all the gas stations will be closed by 4 PM and everybody panicked. They all lined up to buy gas and now many stations are closed as they are out of fuel. Self fulfilling prophecy! People need to chill and conserve as much as they can.
