Default Going to try to get lost this weekend in my S2000

Hi All,

It is getting close to the ideal S2k weather so I bought a new toy for my toy.

I purchased the Garmin Street Pilot 2610 to replace my old emap.

For those who haven't seen the new Street Pilot 2610, it is the replacement for the Street Pilot 3. The differences are that it has 256 color screen, touch screen operations, newer maps, and better voice commands.

I actually like my little Emap BUT you could only route by programming on your computer first. The SP 2610 allows you to auto route from the unit.

This means this weekend I am going to drive until i am lost and then have it route me the quickest way back home or to some other address to test out. A great way to test my new toy while having fun in my toy.

If anyone wants a top notch GPS (outside of paying 3 grand for a system), take a look at the link:

http://www.garmin.com/products/sp2610_2650/

I know it says it retails for $1399 but Best Buy sells it for $899 and I picked mine up off ebay for $749 plus 14 for shipping so you can defintely it get it for close to half of MSRP.

Dean

PS: I am going to be scheduling a Blue Ridge Run within a few weeks!
