Good Deal
I have been researching new stereo decks for my car and had decided on the Alpine CDA-9885. Looked around on the interweb and Crutchfield had it for $259.00 and ther ewas another shady internet car stereo place that had it for $229.00. I just happened to be in Best Buy in Summerville last night and for some reason they had the deck on Clearance for $120.00!!! snatched it up and they have two more, in store buy only. I have a feeling they messed up and put the wrong one on clearance, but there screw up is my windfall I guess. Anyhoo, good deck at a good deal, go get it if you are in the market.
i wish my kenwood would fail. its nice but i want new. everytime i think its messed up it turns out its something i did or a setting i changed. its a good deck but its 6 yo.... i want a new TOY. i just can see spending money for one when this works just fine. once agian.. nice find.

maybe something bigger and better is coming down the pipe and they need to off-load old stock first. Awesome price for ANY Alpine with iPod control. Good find!

Ok here is the deal, I have the Alpine 9885, PAC SWI-X dashboard interface, sirius reciever and kit, and IPOD cable. problem is, I have no idea what to do with them as far as install goes, any recomendations around the Charleston area for a good clean install they way I want it, as far as placement of the antenna and ipod cable and such?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Just remember that the Sirius antenna does NOT have to be on the outside. I've mounted mine in the secret compartment in the S, and on the dash in my son's Civic. We have not experienced any greater reception problems than what we experience with factory Infiniti install.
I'm sorry I can't recommend anyone in Charleston, but I'd highly recommend that you do it yourself, it's not that hard to do, and you could even do it at a work day up here in Charlotte
