cop pulled a uie(sp?) on me and clocked me at 81 in a 55
anyway i can lower this to a lower charge?
and i have a mandatory court appearance
#@$!#$!@#$@!

I saw him turn slow down and pulled a u turn and then puts his lights on and i kept going thinking nothing of it sicnce i didnt think he could clock me while he was traveling the other way then got pulled over

He asked for license and registration i handed him my license and wen to get rhe registration and he said it wasnt necessary(why's this?) then took a few mins and handed me a ticket for 81 in a 55

any thoughts on why he didnt need my registration and or any loopholes

i just checked and on the bottom theres a spot for signature of defendant and he put an x there and i didnt have to sign it could this be a loophole?

hmmm...not sure about the registration thingy. Guess he pulled the necessary info from your drivers license. Don't forget, call a lawyer and ask about a prayer for judgement like we discussed.

OMG! 81 in a 55!!! You are sooooooo lucky that he did'nt revoke your license. That's 26mph over the speed limit. NC State Law states that revocation of your driver's license occurs when you exceed 20 mph!

I see you have not denied this here on the board. . .

Were you really going that fast. . .or faster???

You'll more than likely need a lawyer and ask for prayer of judgement. If you try and go it alone, I fear you may get the worst. . .some judge may see a young man that needs to be tought a lesson!

How do your parents feel about this?

Never put your fate in the hands of a car salesman!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be real careful about having someone approach a judge for me! I've never met one who was willing to risk his career over a lousy speeding ticket, especially at the request of a car salesman.

Pray for judgement, merciful judgement, and be thankful you can still drive!
