Default Happy & Sad

Ahh....don't know whether to be or
or
Here's the story.
I've been saving up for some light mod work for the car.
Was looking at:
Digrappa X-Brace
CM's Splitter
Rick's S Badges-Black on Sebring Silver
Polished & Painted Calipers in Black (maybe silver...hadn't decided)
A V1 detector
...and possible StonGard'ing the front

well, it ain't gonna happen. At least not for awhile as I've just put down earnest money on a new townhouse. (my first 'house' purchase).
Quite happy with the house, but I was sooo looking forward to rigging the S2k out.
Well....next year maybe

Man, you have made the right choice! Home ownership is the absolute ebst investment anyone could ever make. The tax advantages and just knowing that you own a home!

You'll soon find the money for mods in the future. Keep the Prelude! Don't listen to Sexy Bitch!

Consider adjusting your payroll deductions to take into account your mortgage interest deduction. The extra cash you'll net can buy mods before you know it!

Ahh....the whole tax-savings through home-ownership is quite a mystery to me. Looks like I'll be visiting an H&R Block next year.
Hopefully I will get some of investment back though.
As far as selling the Prelude...
I've got a soft spot for the 'Lude plus I traded my wife's Civic in for the S2000 and gifted her the Prelude.
Sell that Honda and suddenly the wife will be driving mine a whole lot more

Cheetah, congrats on the new home ownership! Does it include a nice garage, so you can tuck her safely away?

Are you staying in the Ballantyne area?

To answers the questions:
Yes, the garage was a must-have feature. They are even letting me in before the construction is complete so I can paint the walls (a checkered flag!)
Yes again
It's still in the Ballantyne area. Actually, I probably wouldn't have considered a townhouse, but the location on this one should help it keep it's value. It's just off of Elm.

oh, yeah, we looked at a couple of townhouses off of elm. I believe that the ones that we looked at were right at Elm and 51. Lots of brick townhomes right on the corner.

Well, congratulations. It is much better than the apartment.
