I bought my s2k from a friend named dereck(wreckeds2k) and he had put a body kit and rims on. At first i liked them alot. But since i have been around s2k's mcuh more i like the bone stock bumpers and the oem front lips. The wheels are my biggest concern, they are very nice 18in roja formula 7's. But i must be crazy or dumb but all the other s2k's i get around seem lower due to the stock wheels. I know the car will handle so much better (also cheaper tires). But i am really thinking about junking the body kit, the rims and going back to the beautiful stock look.

As good as some of the body kits look, I still think that the original body lines and subtle details of the car can't be beat.

The thing with body kits is that they are like fashion. One minute they are hot and the next they are 'old news'. The OEM stuff is a little better in that regard because people tend to associate it more with the 'original' look.

Having said that. Tha amuse lip with the Coastal metals grill (polished) and a nice set of rims looks great on the Suzukas.

 

I've seen the body kit on your ride. I would change back to bone stock with lip. In my opinion the 18 are more of a Bling Bling thing. I would stick with the stock wheels or a set of light weight 17's.

In the end it's your ride. If your not happy with it just change it. I'm sure Derick could help you out with the parts

I love those wheels on your car. If you want to sell them Let me know. I am not wanting to change the look of my current s2k but, I dont plan on this being my last one. (as I may sell this car with the Volks.) Next, If you wouldnt mind buying something else from me. I have a set of factory wheels in great condition, that I would do some trading on. FOR THOSE RoJa's.... Also I could hook you up with some tires. I bought that kit and was like (wow) an s2k with a body kit. I really like the stock bumpers. The flow and the look of the body line is great. IMHO- the stock was unbeatable-until they came out with 04's. Matt you have an awesome car. It is your car now! Personalize it. Do what you like and you will love it even more!- I also opted for the OEM look. LET ME KNOW whatever you do! And I will try to help. As for the rear bumper you wont have any trouble selling it on the s2k parts forum. I bet I had 20 people ask about it.

 

I do love the way the factory body flows and i might keep the rojas for show and get some factory wheels for go.
