Default High Tach mtn cruise feedback

Hey guys,
Thank you all for coming to the mtn cruise, i'm sorry things couldn't of turned out better but some things were out of my control.... If Hwy 276 hadn't of been closed down then the cruise would of gone MUCH smoother and hassle-free. I hope everyone still had a great time. If you have pics i'd love to see them Here are some that are up already:

I apprecaite all the effort that went into organizing the event The planning was excellent and the Hwy 276 thing could not have been anticipated. One thing that may have made that easier would have been to regroup at the nearest overlook. The route was fun, although there were a couple of spots where I was cringing because of all the loose pebbles -- both on the road and bouncing off my car after being kicked up by others. The bigger problem was one that is common to large group drives -- the 'I've gotta go faster' attitude that leads to trouble. I am still amazed at the number of incidents that occured on this drive, although after hearing the stories at lunch about folks trying to drift, etc nothing really surprises me. After lunch, when we were down to 15 cars or so -- that was FUN. FUN FUN FUN! Here's a big thanks for making everyone feel welcome and for going to the effort of organizing the drive!

I believe next year's Mtn Cruise will literally be a "cruise." I'm thinking about just taking the Blue Ridge Parkway from Cherokee to Asheville for lunch/dinner, and whoever has the bug in them to tear up the roads will go their own ways with whomever they please.
