However, I believe the '00 and '01 models do not automatically activate the A/C (maybe it's only the '01's).It's all about options man!
Sometimes, with the top down, on a cool day, I want the heat to come into the car via the windshield/dash area. Now, I don't need to run the A/C which will only rob power.
