my maint required light flashes for about 5 seconds and then turns off. i read through a few posts saying that you have the key in lock, hold the trip for a few seconds, then turn the key to on (still holding it)..ive tried that AND even tried have it on off. no luck. manual book tells me the same thing. but it just doesn't work. unless im doing something wrong.

 

you have to hold it for a while, more like 15-20 sec if I remember right...I just had to reset mine last week.

Start with the key turned all the way back, hold trip button and then turn to middle position(off), continue holding for a 15-20sec.
