Well if I had the bug the one thing that would turn me off would be maintenance costs. Its still a supercar so its gonna be expensive to maintain. Cause remember, if its a first gen its gonna be long in the tooth.

I drove one when i was considering one (two actually) and I settled on the S - its just as fun, plus a convertible. Also, for 30k, you can get a practically new vette vs an older NSX.
They are fun cars, but after driving them, I didn't think I'd miss anything with an S instead.

I'll add another comment here...
I remember whenever I'd see an NSX, I'd nearly break my neck to look at it...now, not so much. Don't get me wrong, I still like 'em but I'm not as fanatic about 'em like I used to be, say...6 or 7 years ago.
And when an NSX would come to an event, I used to go ga-ga over them...but I don't really get excited about the NSX any more. And even moreso the modded NSXs. All with the exception of Hardtopguy's, I like his a lot. But I prefer the stock NSX look.
During SESM, we had a good handful of NSXs come out and while it was nice to see the S2000's brother, the car just didn't get me all riled up.
Not many cars do that for me anymore...I've yet to see a GT-R, but I'm sure that'll get my heart thumpin'.
Funny thing is...there was a Lamborghini Murcielago at Mac's Speed Shop last week when we went for lunch and I noticed it...but didn't even bother to go "check it out" or grab a photo.
Guess I'm getting old. Wait, no that doesn't make any sense.
Here are some photos from SESM '08.

Well, like my now world famous stone, someday this too shall pass.
I love my S and having never driven...or for that matter..never sat in an NSX...I'll probably stay with my current garage queen.
I'll still turn my head when I see one though
