Default I Need Input Re Sway Bars

I am thinking of installing anti sway bars on my AP1. Just wondering what any of you guys use and why.

I had Suspension Techologies on my AP2 but the rear one always rubbed on the stock exhaust. Pretty noisy around 3200RPMs.

U really only need the front. The rear ap1 bar is thicker than ap2. U can go to an ap2 rear. Really depends on driver. I know Devin from TF uses oem sways on his race car and it works for him.

When I went 255 square on my tires I swapped the front bar out for the Saner bar, sold by Moddiction. I also swapped for an AP2 rear bar and even tried disconnecting the rear bar all together, but eventually settled with reconnecting and using the AP2 rear bar. This setup in combination with a variety of coilovers and RS3's gave me good confidence and predictability. The car was 50% street, 50% autox use.

Sway bars are only one small part of the equation; it may help for us to know how you use the car, as well as your choice of tire and coilovers.

I'm running stock dampers with Eibach pro set springs. X brace underneath. Hankook Ventus tires. No auto cross or track events but I do run the dragon.
The handling is very tight but I thought a bar would make it a little better.

Lee, you're still staggered though, right? 225/45f and 255/40r tires?

Last I was under my S2000 I discovered there were sway bars mounted there from the factory. Since I don't know more than the engineers who designed the suspension system I decided to leave them there. Depending on model year there are several variations of springs and sway bars, each optimized for the car that year. You can mix and match easily and fairly inexpensively as these all turn up on Ebay regularly. Just slapping on an aftermarket sway bar has a very good possibility of making it worse. And it's not necessarily intuitive. Rear bar (there was one there too) influences what happens at the front of the car too.

Lee, for how you have the car setup and how you drive it, have you looked at the Eibach kit?

My concern is that th rear bar will rub against the exhaust like the ones I put in my AP2.
