Anyone planning to go to the state High School football championship next weekend? Good chance to see the two-time defending champs and the nations top-rated high school quarterback.

 

Is it going to be in Charlotte or New Bern? Ron and I are both Independence graduates. Go Pats!

 

I too am an Independence grad. The game is actually in Raleigh.

 

Had no idea about this. Wonder where I can get more info. . .

Just graduated from NB... tough luck they didnt' do this last year! I keep hearing about Independance when I am in Winston-Salem (a lot of the students come from the Queen City)... and they sound amazing. I am debating if I should see the game... Thanks for the directions!

 

I think that Independence has won something like 40+ straight games and are the two-time defending state champions. They beat the hell out of Spartanburg early in the year, the defending SC champs, and their coach said that he hadn't seen anyone like them.

If you can make it to Raleigh it would probably be a good game.
