Default Looking for a used S2000

Hey s2ki family! Yes, I have finally seen the light! I want another S! I am currently trying to sell my Evo, and I plan on buying a preferably 2003 un-modded under 100k miles car. Color really doesn't matter and I am open to other years. Here is a link to my Evo sale if anyone is interested. Thanks Craig B

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide to sell the Evo?

I detailed a modified Evo IX MR last year, and the owner let me drive it around a little after I finished. I really, really liked that car. The power was intoxicating, and the handling seemed like it would be right there too. Anyway, I was left thinking that if I ever decide to move on to something different than my S2000, I'd consider an Evo.

And the STU Evos at Nationals were FAST.

I don't like a turbo'd car. Too much junk to worry about, and cost of maintaince is ridiculous! OEM pads and rotors( front and rear) was close to $800 without labor. Plus I cannot stand working on it, the engine faces the wrong way, and for daily driving with spirted street driving it's just too much power. The speeds I can reach on Ceasars head is just stupid unsafe. Headlight suck in visiblity. You don't realize how nice the s is until you get rid of it. Perfect car and a Honda so 200,000 worry free miles!

Although DSMs ARE a pita to work on I have driven several evos and I just love the way VIIIs and IXs drive. The car that was the most fun driving was probably an 03 on stock turbo that was tuned on 28psi . Full spool was faster than instant and it was a very balanced ride. I will have to agree with you on maintenance as Ive heard many complain about how expensive brakes are. On the other end I think youre making an awesome trade off. There is a spa yellow ap1 20 miles from my house with an OEM hardtop for $10.9k if you were interested

I have a problem

1) the prodigal wants to return, but is also considering a used Porsche

2) to rid yourself of the now unloved Evo, you pimp out Andy's great photo talent to make a sale!

3)

4) Welcome Back

Porsche's are out of the question unless the dealer gets one traded in for cheap. I actually enjoy working on the S and Porsche's so that is a big reason for the sale. I am tired of expensive parts, sleepless nights, car payments, and high insurance. I can buy a good used S, hardtop, wheels, and exhaust and still not break the bank. I really miss the community and driving the car, plus 9k is amazing!! Sure I will miss the extra 150hp, but peace of mind and money for a house just sounds slot better.

Does that last sentence make me sound like an old dude? Nooo!! I am being responsible!! Oh well, where is Raul and his comments, I know he misses me! LOL!

Sorry I missed you on New Years Marty.

you could always S/C the S and get that 150hp back while still being a reliable honda!
