What about an '02 with an '05 drivetrain?
Or a AP2 with an AP1 ECU and a beefed up valve train! 2.2L @ 9k would be cool, I know it's been done.

Any modifications to the ECU? Do you rev to 9k consistantly?

Completely stock '02 ECU. I have a modifry shift beeper that I have set at either 8500 or 8600, so it beeps a solid tone at that RPM. I can, and have on a few occasions, taken it up to the ECU's rev limiter, but I generally shift at whatever I have the beeper set to. It gives plenty of room to stay in vtec after the shift. I'm quite happy with it.

Hey Craig. So last night I was on my way to my bf's house, you met him new years eve at DT's Tavern, but anyways I saw a black ap1 (I know that brings back memories lol) for sale at a small car lot on scuffletown rd. It looked like it was in good condition when I passed by. I know a lot of ppl don't like to look at small/family owned dealerships but this one has always had very nice, kept up cars in their lot. I forgot to stop by and look at the mileage and price but if you want I can go check it out for you tonight and take some pics?
