Default Membership Renewal

Jeeze. It would be nice to get a little warning before your membership runs out.

Something better than getting on the board and seeing "PM's FULL!"

At least it comes right back after you PayPal your bribe...I mean dues.

If anyone PM'ed me the last day or so, better try it again.

Same thing happened to me a while back. It made me so mad I still have not renewed.

Yep, missed opportunity. You'd think that the powers in charge would want to keep that money flowing in. Imagine a system where you had advance warning and could renew (pay) prior to expiration.

But of course, is there any other way?

You mean like every other online service I've ever paid for?

Yep. I agree. It's a pain. Perhaps they don't want to spam us with renewal notices, but I find such reminders helpful (as long as they're only once a week or so and don't start too soon).

!!!

That has happened to me, the past 2 yrs, and both times when I was getting ready to order something, and apply my membership discount...which didn't work out well, since mine had expired...by a few days. Maybe they will catch on one of these days !

Yeah, I don't get it either. We (moderators) have shared these feelings with Erik and folks...I thought for sure it would be resolved by now.

My "ClubPhoto" account has my Visa on file and every year, they automatically bill me. No need for a reminder or really action on my part (until the Visa expires). It's a great way for me to keep my albums up to date, year after year. If it required action on my part, I can tell you now...I would not have renewed. Who has the time???

I'll share this with Erik (cthree) again and see what comes of it...
