The most unprofessional experience ever!
I just went (for the first time) to Huskerhubby's former employer's credit union to make payments on the car loan and change loan payment to draft from our BOA checking account. Its a big company and a big credit union so a certain amount of professionalism was automatically assumed.
So, I first go to the teller and inform her of the above info and she directs me to wait for the "Loan Officer". Okay, no problem. So I wait, and wait, read the entire copy of Money magazine while said "Loan Officer" has a personal conversation with her friend about her daughter's upcoming pageant. BTW, she knows I'm waiting and does not even bother to close her door, so I can hear everything. Finally, the friend leaves and I enter her office and sit down. I explain the situation, and lo and behold, she pulls out her nail polish and begins to polish her nails!
Ooookkkkaaaayyy. I continue to speak and she starts tapping away on her keyboard- carefully so as not to mess up the newly lacquered nails. After a few pauses, she then asks for my checking acct. #, only to inform me that they cannot draft from a BOA account.
Dumbfounded (since I had clearly established in the beginning I had a BOA account) and ticked off, I made a few choice comments about the nail polish fumes and her brain and left.
How can anyone be so unprofessional and still be employed is beyond me.

that happened to my aunt once...longer story and a lot more rude
i'll tell it in person
but long story short, she got fed up and told the manager
she wanted to close her account and the bank was more than happy
to close her accounts until they saw she had a little over 400k in them
