Default My "i'm new" thread

This may or may not be a bit late, but Hi, I'm Katie, and I'm a new S2k owner.

I live in Charlotte, NC - on the north side of town around the University area, almost at the intersection of 485 and 85.

I'm a bit of a Honda fan, coming from a bit of a Honda family... we've owned an Odessy, 2 Accords, 2 Civics, and I've owned 2 Preludes (4th and 5th gen) within the last 5-10 years.. plus a Ford Ranger (and a Toyota Celica!), but we don't speak about that.

The 5th gen prelude was a neccessity purchase, had to buy a car within 2 days in order to move to Charlotte and start work (from Raleigh, well Apex, originally) and it was a lemon to say the least... $2k worth of engine work later and facing at least another $2k, I decided to sell it and stumbled upon an S2k at CarMax in Charlotte.

I test drove it, had a knowledgeable friend (who isn't a fan of Hondas) test drive it, he loved it, so I test drove it again (after test driving an Eclipse and a Jetta, ew ick and YUCK - especially the eclipse!) and bought it

I'll go ahead and warn you all that I'll ask some absolutely ridiculous questions, but i'm not a complete idiot when it comes to cars... i'm learning

tahnk you very much boys i HAVE found the secret compartment (and put my ipod thingit in there, my paperwork for the car as well as my sunglasses and my cell phone charger)

AND i've already filled up

(I had trouble finding that at the car lot )

you CAN laugh at the fact that I had to call a mate and ask them how to put it in reverse, I never had to reverse it until I got it home and parked it! Feel very free to laugh at that

and trust me, i WILL have some stupid questions.

one of which being, is there a freakin' unlock button in this car, or do you always have to use the remote?! i can't find it for the LIFE of me if there is one!

and there's no clock either right? i'm not just going crazy?
