oh no i understand ur stand on the safety aspect. but this car will never see any kind of track. maybe a pit or two, so yea they're just 4 looks

I tried bracket racing once, years ago in my GS-R. I got destroyed! It's harder than it looks.

yea its fun tho. i have a 69 vw variant (german station wagon) with a 2920cc scat built stroker motor, fully tubbed and gutted, 25'' slicks and full cage. we build our own cages for the race cars and also build dune buggies with our own mandrel bender. ive been toyin with the idea of fabbin somethin like the cusco 4pt for the s for a while and now with the baby bein born i get 20 days of leave, so now i have the time...

Hi Eric, I like the look, but something you may want to consider: I was not on a track, but on a public road when I flipped my 1st S. I was not speeding or driving recklessly. I was not ticketed, but was even told by the state trooper that there was nothing I could have done and was lucky to be alive.

My point is, just because you never plan to track your car doesn't mean you'll never need to use the harness. You may want to reconsider, or get a racing seat that has the cutouts for the harness.

You could probably sell your stock seats and get some brides or recaros pretty cheap. TPhong had a nice recaro for sale a few months ago.

theres not too many aftermarket seats that i like. plus they're all hella expensive and i'd have to get two.
