Myrtle Beach Golf
Our golf-trip rotation has made its way back to Myrtle Beach for a trip in a few weeks. 16 middle-aged guys playing bad golf (our skill level, not the courses) looking for good food, good bars, and perhaps a gentlemen's club - - - not necessarily in that order.
Our last trip was in '03 (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=102527) and I'm sure much has changed in the last 7 years.
We are staying at the Legends Resort, which appears to be somewhat central.
I'm looking for a recommendation on a steakhouse, seafood place (not sushi), breakfast and a bar with decent food. I saw RIOZ mentioned in a recent thread. That is an option but we would prefer a more traditional steak place. Any other recommendations would be great.
For those not interested in the aforementioned gentlemen's clusbs, we'll check out a Pelican's game and take a lap at BATB, any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

ah, golf at MB...great times.
i'm part of a group of about 12 guys that has gone down basically every year for the past, oh, 12 years or so and stayed fri-mon, played about 4-8 rounds of golf, and caused no small amout of trouble
i don't know what your age group is, but there are tons of good restaurants and things to check out at broadway (joes, yamato, dueling pianos, karaoke, etc.)
the last few times we've gone, we got in some paintball and skeet shooting as well
we haven't had a whole lot of time to search around for really good food, i can't be a lot of help there...our group prefers hooter's and sushi
i know you'll have a great time no matter what, though. it's about the people and the fellowship, not the GD little while ball that won't go straight.

I'm one of the young guys at 42. I think the oldest is 60. Perhaps middle-aged is not the correct adjective to describe us.
Broadway is always good for a night out. The dueling piano place was a good time.
I would be interested in hearing about the skeet shooting. We can't seem to hit a golf ball, perhaps a clay might be easier. Do you recall the name of the range you shot at?
Thanks,
maybe....upper-middle aged
we went to a place called myrtle grove gun club.
it's kind of out in the middle of nowhere, probably 35-45 minutes from myrtle (i don't recall exactly), and has terrific accommodations. the employees are super friendly and basically get you started and then let you do your own thing
one caveat is they don't rent guns or sell ammo, so you have to bring basically everything you need. we got some funny looks walking out of wal-mart at 9pm on a sunday night with about 1k 12gauge shotgun shells
anyway, i definitely reccomend it, it's a hell of a time
