Default Need Advice Bad!!

I was driving off in my 2000 S2000 the other day and my car started to smell really bad (Burning smell). My S only has 30K miles on it and I wouldnt think it would be smelling like it was.

If I am sitting at a stop light in neutral and put it in first gear it jumps (just a little jump nothing major, just not normal), its like it doesnt want to go into first good. It seems that my clutch is slipping some in first too...My car is still under warranty so I think I am going to go by the Honda dealership here soon. Do you guys think its more my clutch or tranny????? I have heard some horror stories about the first few years of S2000's (00-01) trannys being bad is that true?

The smell is probably the clutch. It definately needs to be looked at. There is a TSB related to the tranny whining that calls for clutch part replacements.

Good luck!
