Can anyone recommend a good SCCA helmet and a vendor in the Columbia, SC area? Need one for autoX.

if its just autox get a motorcycle helmet for 90-100 dollars. if you want to do some road racing, check out safe-quip in irmo. their number is 803-732-0937 they dont keep office hours! so call ahead if you go there ive been there at noon on a weekday and they've been closed for the day they have everything you could imagine for racing though except cars

Like Carolina Motorsports Park, SCCA probably has a requirement for a DOT & Snell 95 minimum spec.

You can also try Helmet Shop

Buy the best you can afford.
