Default Need help picking a Single Exhaust?

Hello everyone,

So I am looking to switch to a single exhaust setup. I am currently running the Invidia Q300 dual with Titanium tips, stock cat, and buddy club headers. I plan on switching to a TP when I get my single.

My budget is anywhere from $300-$800. My main concern is with the overall sound of the exhaust. My current exhaust just sounds like a fart can when I get the S up there.

I am looking for a deep sounding exhaust that also has slight power gains. I was in the market for an Invidia N1 but after I heard that thing take off, it just wasnt for me. It is wayyy to high pitched and just pure loudness.

I really want to hear some exhausts that would fit my criteria. I am a fan of the J's Racing 60rr but havent had a chance to hear other exhaust on an S in person.

If anyone knows someone around the Raleigh area who wants to meet up this weekend and fits that criteria let me know. We can grab a couple beers anywhere. Or if you know anyone who is selling something that you think I would like please pm me. My names Malcolm by the way.

Thanks!

Malcolm, here is my old Buddy Club Spec 3 single that I had for a couple of years. I loved the way it sounded.

Any thoughts?

Ive heard many good things about the berk 3inch but havent found a good sound clip to really get a good feel for what it brings to the table.

loved mine. too loud to DD in my opinion though. sounds amazing. If i had a second car to DD, i would go back to the Berk. quality is top notch. As you can tell in the video - its loud as hell haha, as i drive further down the road it doesnt sound any further away than when i'm right near the camera.

berk is very boomy still and drones, i must say my HKS 75mm single is perfect. my neighborhood doesn't mind it, but when you open hervup it still roars and there is zero rasp anywhere in the power band.
