Well, the (seemingly) inevitable happened today. I spun the S and backed her into a ditch. Passenger & myself were both fine. Bumper a little dinged, and the exhaust tubing in the right rear is bent pretty badly.
I'll be shopping around for one on s2ki here, but if someone has one locally they need to sell - aftermarket or OEM - let me know.
Thanks

Nope, wasn't me. If it had been, you would have heard my busted exhaust rattling as it rubs against my suspension & melts my bumper!
But no, that wasn't me
I live in north Raleigh, so I'm rarely around the Cary area late at night....

In Pittsboro on some back roads. I had driven the same roads a few hours earlier the exact same way. But this time I was coming back with a passenger (ex-girlfriend). Took the left turn, back slid to the right, overcorrected-back slid to the left, panicked (still intermediate at RWD, sigh), let off the gas, and spun out left into the ditch. Rear right bumper/exhaust are the only two parts that saw damage.
It's not too bad actually. Digging about 1 lb of mud out of my exhaust was fun. And watching a clump of grass fly out when I restarted it was hilarious!
