New 03 S at Hendrick Honda (pics)
I was checking out cars on my lunch break and ran across this lonely S.
It was at the back of the lot. I'm sure someone can get a great deal on it.
Someone please give this car a home!

I am wondering (in a good way) what the bad experience at Hendrick has been for you. I have bought several new cars all from the same sales guy there and have nothing but good things to say about them and him. I haven't had any major problems with any of my cars, but they got me out of a lease I was upside down on (only had it for 2 of 4 year lease) when I bought this MY05 S2000. The way the deal worked out I ended up wayyyy ahead of where I would have been buying anything anywhere else. I guess it does help that I am buying a new minivan from them whenever it comes in.
Anyway, was just curious.

was at the lexus dealership on independence. i got a price for an is300(for my gf) and we worked out a price, and when i said id like to just pay cash they said that was the "financing price" and they wanted to tack on 2k if i payed cash for it or used my own financing. then started stating that the car i wanted was "rare" since it was 5speed and said all this other crap. so, i left. i guess they thought i was a punk kid and was hoping to make some $$ by getting me into a car loan with 8% interest or something. i know thats part of the "game" in car buying. ive had that happen when i was looking at a ford truck and when my gf was looking for an R32 at the vw dealership in mooresville. ive talked to a few R32 guys and they just said the vw dealership there is run by a bunch of jerks to put it nicely. i think the only good experience ive had in town is independence nissan when looking at a titan. i got a knowledgeable sales guy unlike when i bought my wrx the saleman literally said "this has a turbo?" when i asked how much psi it was running. lol good times

I wasn't too impressed by the Lexus dealer on Independence. They did not want to negotiate the residual on my RX300 that was coming off of lease. They also did not want to negotiate the interest rate too if I wanted to purchase it. I ended up buying a brand new Accord EXV6 from Crown Honda. This was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car. I did everything via the Internet with Matt, the internet sales manager there. When I ended up returning the RX300, I had Honda pick me up at the Lexus dealer. Pretty much, if they had negotiated the residual and gave me a better interest rate, I would have kept the rx300.
