New daily in the stable

Never been to Colorado before...baller airport and tons of snow. Very cool after an exhausting 4 hour plane ride from Charlotte to Denver with a 3 hour layover.

So apparently they just pile up snow like this in parking lots...snowmen people! If you build them...they will come.

My buddy Kyle. Awesome guy. Picked me up from the airport, drove me around, had a beer with me, and drove me to the bank to meet Nick.

There she is, dirty as hell and presale. Nick was a nice guy and the interior was well cared for.

Starting my journey to Boulder to stay with my cousins. It was really good to see them and catch up. Had dinner in downtown Boulder and got to see some of the sites.

The next morning post-sale. Looking good and ready for adventure.

The start of the journey back home...it's going to be a little while before I got there!

Filled up the back left tire with air, filled up the tank. Time to go. Beautiful scenery in Colorado. I can see why folks love it.

You sure about that Kansas? You don't know me
There is NOTHING in Kansas but millions of acres of fields. very wide open and hardly any trees, but the wind fields were really cool. Enjoyed talking with friends and family via the bluetooth HF Link in the car.

Trucker food in Salina, KS. Yum!

Was going to try and make it to St. Louis, but stopped off at the Super 8 in Wentzville, KS as it was almost midnight, and Beer 30.

2nd leg of the journey

Never had WhiteCastle before, but found out it's the same thing as Krystal's. Delicious lunch around 1PM in Louisville KY

Almost home...

FINALLY! Home sweet home. She really needs a wash, clay bar and a wax now!

Tentative to do list:
Figure out all the gadgetry
Change all fluids (well...maybe the coolant is still good
)
Wash/clay/wax/interior detail
New windshield
Conti DWS 225/45/17s all around w/ a much needed alignment
Update Nav unit

Sweet, is this the 10k TSX mentioned in the other thread perhaps? 6MT seem hard to find. I wish they offered the wagon with one, that would be sweet. A v6 wagon with 6MT while I am dreaming.
Seriously cool, especially if you got it for 10k.

Congrats Brett! I've actually been scouring Craigslist for a manual TL or TSX for a daily driver. Let me know how you like it!
Also, I'm running the Conti DWS tires right now on the S (225/45 F / 255/40 R). Great tires for a DD and they last forever (540 treadwear rating!).

Great daily, man. I sold mine to buy an S2000 and bought an XJ Cherokee to daily. Mine was an 08 white 6sp with the tan interior. If you baby it on a trip, you can pull almost 40mpg. That body style is so much better than the new one. VERY classy.
Congrats on the new wheels Brett.
Looks like a sweet ride....sure wish I had that kind of money.
I have been looking at TLs lately. Don't know what got into me..looking at cars when I already have 2 fine rides.
