New Guy
Hello everyone! Been on here for a few months but haven't got around to introducing myself. So here goes.
I was introduced to hondas about 6 years ago. Before then I thought they were dumb and unless it had 8 cylinders it was slow... Boy was I wrong. It was a eye opening experience when I started to hang out with people who had integras and civics. I was instantly hooked and had to have one. So I bought me a 97 civic coupe that already had a GSR swap, suspension, and lots of other mods. As I started to learn more and more about Honda I discovered the s2000.
I had to have one! It became a goal of mine to own one. But, I wasn't in the financial position to have one yet so I stayed content with the civic. In the 4 years I've had the civic I have done a few motor swaps including a h2b turbo.
So 7 months ago I finally landed another great job. So I began to rip apart the civic again to do a full brake tuck, wire tuck, and built b16 turbo. Well I got bored with that 4 months in, just after I finished the brakes, and started to look for a new car. The civic hadn't ran in a year and my daily driver Pontiac Sunfire is getting up in age. So as I looked around I had decided to get a C5z06. Some of my friends had mustangs and modded 03 cobras. So I wanted something pretty quick so I could have fun with them. I had looked at s2000's and NSX's but thought to myself that I had to have a fast car right now and either of those won't cut it. So finally found a 04 z06 procharged with 668hp. That will do the trick!
So I go to the bank, get everything straight, and contact the owner and set up a meet for the weekend so I can look at the car. Well, I wake up the next morning and decide to just see if there were any new s2000's for sale that I hadn't already looked at. Jump onto cars.com and BAM! 1st car I see is a 2007 Laguna Blue with 15,465mi. My heart jumps as that was my favorite color! I call up the dealership to see if they still have it and 5hrs later I'm signing the papers! So I kind of bought it on a whim but the picture spoke to me. LOL.

Got it Nov. 5th 2010.

Put over 3k miles on it in 2 months! Absolutely the most fun car I've ever driven. Got to know it very well and figured out the direction I want to take it. 1st thing I had to do was get rid of the wheel gap. So I put some D2's on it last week. Not the greatest suspension, lol, but it gets the job done especially since I have don't plan on tracking the car, even though I would LOVE to.

ended up being a heck of a lot lower than I had planned!!! But the look is growing on me. Still thinking about raising it up a inch.
Sorry for the LONG intro but just felt like sharing. Look forward to seeing you guys around and thanks to my crazy work schedule I hope I will be able to make it out to a meet sometime.
EDIT: Oh, I'm in Elgin, SC. Right outside of NE Columbia.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm stuck deciding between doin some more appearance mods plus exhaust and flashpro or saving for a few more months and boosting. Tough decision!
