Well i just got my 2001 Silver/black metiallic S2k around 3 weeks ago with 18K for around 19 something grand... and i use it as my daily driver.. wonder if anyone uses their s2k in the carolina as their daily driver as well?

I use MY00 as a daily driver (I own no other car though). It's great in the summertime but I would prefer to have another car for the winter months.

Where ya from?

I used to use my '03 as a daily driver until I put ~35,000 miles on it in the first year. Now I have a $600 beater... They get about equal action I guess. I just can't stand to see the S sitting there for more than a couple days!

yea i live in charlotte just a little off of South blvd... and i might go to the fall meet... My S is basically my first manual car!! so i'm still pretty much getting the hang of it... Where is the fall meet at anyways?

 

Yea I need a beater as well... MY01 already has 80k on it and Ive only owned it 4 months!! I took a bad deal on it from the dealership but I looked at like this, I hated my old car that I was stuck with for 4 years... this car I love so I dont mind the bad deal.

Our MY03 is a daily driver. 7 mile commute to work for her, 9 miles for me... we swap off and on and have not had a single issue. There are a few winter days where I drop her off and garage the S... no big deal. We live uptown so we walk to get groceries and stuff on the weekends. Last year only put 8K on her even with a few trips to TN and back!

 

Welcome my S2k is also my daily driver, I drive her as much as i can. Whats the use of having a car you love and letting her sit in the garage.
