My real name is Joe, I finally just got an AP1 02 Silverstone with 11k miles. I have been drooling over s2ks for years. I love Hondas this is my 5th Honda. Hondas for life! I have been into Hondas since I have been driving. I don't know much about modifying them as in engine and performance but I am always open to learning. The S2k is strictly my weekend car when it's a nice sunny day out. I have a daily driver 99 EK hatch 147,XXX which I put some ex parts in. I love the s2000 so far and I am really looking forward to meeting some people around this area and learning about the s2000 as well as upgrading and learning about parts for the s2k. What is the best thread to find the soonest meets?

 

Welcome! I'm Andrew, I've been around S2ki for a while but i'm fairly new to the Carolinas. I'd suggest bringing your car to a few autox events to learn how to get the best from it and to help decide what you'd like to change or modify. It's cheap too- less than $40 for most events! Thank you everyone, I paid about 20k. I know I know I paid double what I should have, but I bascially got a new car with 11k miles garage kept. I couldn't pass it up and for what I am planning on doing to it I wanted a strong low mileage engine. I plan on turboing it or supercharging it not sure which yet. I am leaning more towards the turbo. Anyways, Alambama, I would love to come and do that with you but unfortunately I am at the end of tax season and I have to work 6 days a week. I have yet to go to the dragon and it is on my list of places to go to soon. I would be interested in meeting some of you if you guys do like a coffee meet or something in Raleigh. I have since taken the carmax crap off the car lol. I will try to load some pics even though I am not sure I know how.

 

Congrats! Definitely a pretty mint find. 11k on a MY02 is pretty good.

Car looks like it's in great shape as well.
