eh. its a replica. just rattle can it imo.

automotivetouchuppaint.com or whatever has spot on color matching.

i rattle canned mine and it looked great til the curb ate it.

shops were trying to charge me anywhere from 250-400 to paint a lip.
that was crazy talk. i painted the whole thing myself for like $50 and a days worth of work.

I can second automoticetouchuppaint.com. I rattle canned a NFR lip with there paint and clear. 95% color match, almost perfect.

if it was a really nice lip, i would pay to get it painted but if you just got a oem replica on ebay or something, just rattle can it.
odds are, a curb will scrape it eventually. you wont feel as bad if you just spent $50 to paint it. lol

rattle canning isnt that hard. just takes a lot of elbow grease and patience.
ive never painted anything before when i rattle canned my lip and aside from a minor mess up, it turned out pretty good.

you can buy a can of paint to match your car for $19.99.
you can prob get away with 1 but id order 2 to get a few good coats on there.

that plus some adhesion promoter, sand paper and primer... you should be set.

there are a few DIYs on this site.

all roughly $50-$60 total.

True that Bobby. I might end up doing it myself. Will post up pic soon when I get around it.

Congrats on your 'new' AP1. You'll love it...and a good color choice too. There's a ton of community action with regards to the upstate. Have fun!

If you don't mind my asking... Where did your source the lip from? I would like to add one to my S2K but have no idea which one to get...
