two weeks ago, for the first time i put synthetic motor oil in the S and let just say from now on i will use only synthetic oil.. (mobile 1, try to look for redline but couldn't find it)

today i just put on the comptech drop in air filter and wow..i was really surprise..
it has a deeper sound and it a little louder than stock...
i can definitely feel the difference....i know it give about 3hp gain but it feel like 10..

just thought yall want to know and get the comptech air filter next time you change your air filter...

btw, when is the next Mod and Tech Day??
i'm getting close to 30k....(got to do A,B, and C)

 

Yeah, I've decided to go with synthetic next time I change my oil. Also, how much does a comptech air filter run? I have the K&N filter that came with my AEM CAI, I might change it out soon, so I could try something new such as comptech.

 

There is a potential one being held here in June at VA Beach We got some ppl all the way from MD coming as well. Ill keep ya'll posted

Oh I thought that comptech offered a cone filter like the K&N, because I was going to replace my K&N to connect to my CAI. Is comptech's a box filter?

 

the comptech is a cone shape.. i see what your saying..you're replacing the k&n with the comptech for you Aem Cai (double check to see if it will fit)....make sure you get the comptech air filter for the cai intake then not the one for the oem box..i think it two different thing...
