Next VIR Charity Laps?
Hello everyone!
I've been a bit out of touch with the s2000 community lately since I have been buried in work. However, it seems like it should be about time for another VIR charity lap event and I could definitely use a break from the work. Does anyone happen to know when the next one is coming up?
Thanks,
John

I don't see anything on the calendar for the rest of the year, but I do see that the Hooked on Driving event Oct. 24th-25th states that the org. allows our cars without an aftermarket rollcage!

But knowing our luck it won't be allowed due to VIRs policy.

It's not luck. That has been VIR's policy for years ... and for very good reasons. I don't like it, but it is what it is.
The HOD pdf does specify S2k's ok for groups 1 and 2. I would email them and see if VIR is ok with that.

Well, just received a response back from HOD. I will let y'all judge for yourselves.

Pedro I was given your e-mail in regards to our upcoming Hookedon Driving HPDE event Oct. 24, 25 at VIR. I just spoke with VIR and you are OK to run your car in the A-Group with a coach in the car with your rollover protection. You will run with your top up and will have to sign an additional waiver but you are OK to run with us. Please click or copy and paste into your Browser this link to register and we will see you there.
