My Diesel F250 DD is RWD and it's not totally FTW. I'm thinking about picking up a cheap/fun commuter though.

I definitely enjoy driving it everyday but I do always like to have a back up. I've got pilot super sports in the rear and they are awesome. Working on wearing through these garbage Super steel 595's up front so I can put pss up there too.

Who all was out at C&C on the 4th? Saw a few S's but didn't recognize too many of them.

I was there, I drive the 05 Rio parked further back in the lot. I bought the car in May but this was my first chance to check out C&C since owning it. Are there normally more S's that go? It seemed a little sparse...or maybe just scattered. Maybe we should cone off like the Astons or lay claim like the Mustags lol

Saw your car. I think the 4th had attendance a little down. I don't think anyone actually cones off spots except maybe the sponsors over by Mattie's. But a lot of the groups do get there early enough to congregate. I guess we're too lazy as an ownership-base, lol.

I had an EG coupe for quite a few years and loved it. Light, fun to drive, cheap parts, and super easy to work on.

As for the S, you should bring it out to an autox, it can even further your appreciation for the car. There's a 2 day event at Zmax July 25th/26th which would be a perfect time to see what it can do
Hmmm. I definitely should look into that. Who runs it, like what website can I read about it to see what I need to do an register? Will you or anyone else here be attending?
Yep, I'll be there and work registration. Alex already posted the link to the club and registration, but it's also worth noting that the club has a fantastic novice program for drivers that are new to the sport. There are course walks led by experienced drivers to explain what you're looking at, show you where to go, and general tips about the course. They can also help you with explaining how the event runs, work assignments, etc. When it comes to driving you will get an extra run, as well as have an instructor available for in car coaching to help you navigate the course and improve your driving. You also have the option to let the instructor take one of your runs to see what the car is capable of and what they are doing differently. One of the novice chiefs is also an s2k driver and I am one of the novice instructors, so if you come out it's quite likely that a fellow s2k'er will be working with you.
