After a really long day of work and then class (14 hours straight), I took 'our first child' out for a little run. I still only have about 250 miles on it and have followed break-in directions to a "T". Anyway, I decided to pass someone before the 4-lane turned to a 2-lane, missed a shift (3rd gear at 5500 down to 2nd gear at who knows what RPMs), quickly got back into 3rd... then 4th, and on my way.

It was a little embarrassing.

Anyway, the sad part to me is that my baby lost it virginity in a downshift!

same thing happen to me today while i was driving to school. ..as i enter the school i saw this hot chic was walking down the hill..i was in second gear and was about to shift to third but then somehow it went to 1st and my car jerk (or jump) and there were cars behind me..i felt kinda of stupid and just took off.. i didn't even see her face..
