Nope. There's so much play that I suspect the hub is damaged, so my plan is to just replace it. I'm not going to try to get the inner race off of the old hub. I Should just have to deal with getting the outer race out of the knuckle. I think at one point I bought the appropriate dies to do that -- after the experience we had at Dickey's when we took yours apart.

I'm sure they have a big honkin' press at the porsche dealer, though, that I could beg to use. Then again, maybe it'll be my excuse to upgrade the press?

that's a fun job, i just did my driver's rear bearing and hub a few months ago

If you need to use it give me a call! I have access to a 1 ton press! But Toyota, has a 40 or 60 ton press that I could use if I knew where it was in their shop!
