Quick Question About Car Sales...
So I bought a car from a N. Carolina dealership. They received the money and the car is with me. The only thing missing is the MSO. The MSO was supposed to be sent to me but now they're saying they will register the car for me? To your knowledge, is that legal as we agreed that the MSO would be released to me with the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
what is an MSO?
this website might help you out, or you can call them.

I'm not sure what an MSO is either but it sounds like you may be talking about the title? If that is correct, I wouldn't say it's illegal for them to do that, since most dealerships do this as a courtesy. I just bought my s2k and my bank is handling getting the car registered for me as well. I wouldn't sweat it, just sit back and wait for the plates and registration.
Are you referring to the manufacturer's certificate of origin? I just bought a car from out of state in Florida, which meant that I wouldn't need a Florida title, so they just overnighted the manufacturer's certificate of origin to me. I left the dealer with the car, a bill of sale, and a Florida registration with temporary tags, but the certificate was overnighted to me.
