Default question about buying a car from other state

I bought a car from CA, it already passed CA smog check. What do I need to do to get the AZ license plate? Do I need to bring the car to MVD for verification?

You'll probably have to pay AZ sales tax, and figure out how to get the CA sales tax refunded.

I haven't tansfered the title yet, will transfer the title in AZ MVD. Just want to know if I need to bring the car there for verification and inspection, and does the CA smog check result works in AZ too.

I think you have to pay $1000 and get reamed by ASU_Lee in order to get the car into the state just to ask these questions.

Watch out, Lee lurks at the borders waiting for fresh meat....

Sadly enough, this is true.

He only accepts cash FYI.

I think he just installed a card reader in his car to handle the cash strapped...or double reaming if no cash or card...
