Hi all,

Just a quick note to say "Hey!" to our NC members, and especially the Raleigh locals - just today, my (new to me) S2000 arrived via car hauler, and I'm over the moon to have finally gotten an S2000!

I'll post some good photos soon, as the S arrived only an hour or two before sunset... but here's a couple to start with:










I was extremely fortunate to find this particular S2000 on Craigslist on the same day that it was posted by the seller, a retired mechanical engineer and gearhead who babied this car from the day that he took initial delivery from Honda, racking up a grand total of 11,347 miles before I got my hands on it. I have always wanted an S2000, and after doing a lot of research, I'm so pleased to have found this one. It's a keeper.

Also, I wanted to give special "Thanks!" to OfSalesmen, a local Raleigh member who offered me the opportunity to test drive his precious and very nice Suzuka Blue S2000... it really helped me make a decision on the AP1 vs AP2 thing, very generous of him indeed. So again, Thanks!!

Looking forward to meeting up with the locals to shoot the breeze and check out all the S's in the area. I love all kinds of cars, not just S's or JDM's, and am always willing to lend a hand to work on a car that needs something done.

Thanks for all the words of welcome, guys! Very excited to finally have an S2000! I remember first sitting in a new AP2 in a showroom in Europe, an NFR with black interior, and thinking it was one of the most gorgeous cars I'd ever seen.

As for mods... my first mod was actually a Modifry glovebox organizer that I found locally on Craigslist, before I had even bought my S. I do have bumper plugs on the way, hopefully arriving today or tomorrow. I won't be going too nuts with mods, and anything I do will be OEM-Plus. Right now I'm just getting to know the car, and we'll see what happens from there.
