Default S2000 Ground Clearance

We are moving to Hawaii soon and plan to ship the S from here to California for the trip to Hawaii. One company I spoke with said it must have a ground clearance of six inches. I can't find this information anywhere. I've looked in my owner's manual, the internet and even called a dealer. Anyone know the number? Of course, I can go out to the garage with a ruler, but I was hoping to find something more official.

Also, if anyone has any experience shipping their S I would appreciate your input.

Thanks.

Get some of the infamous spring spacers from a dealer and reinstall them for shipping just like Honda did when your car was new

You want to know how much ground clearance an s2000 has and you think a ruler is not legit enough? A ruler is way more official than an owner's manual!

THis seems to be the best idea, for shipping. I think it would maximize clearance. Also, take a ruler and measure. It will atleast give you a rough idea

A quick google for "S2000 ground clearance" gives a couple sources:

Minimum 4.2 inches from
http://www.theautochannel.com/newcardb/ccc...ble&titleid=326

Non-Load (in.)- 5.1
Full-Load (in.)- 4.2 from
http://www.hondanews.com/catID2071?mid=200...951875&mime=asc

I would be empirical and go with whatever you measure yourself.
