yes, i said really said scion. i will be going from 7000 pound suv to 2500 pound lunchbox-mini (xb model). i was wondering if anyone had any friends that had one or knew some people at a dealer. both the dealers in charlote were zero help to me. so, i can only imagine the pain it will be when i buy the car. with that in mind, i want to spend my money elsewhere.

They have a slightly USED one in New Bern and when I say USED, I'm talking very little mileage.

I just called (just for you Bridow ) and it has 2,500 miles and they are asking $17,900.

If interested, call on Bruce Smith with Toyota of New Bern at 252-637-7200.

They are little, tiny things. The Xa almost looks bigger. Enjoy!

You will pay MSRP on the Scion's as part of Toyota's "pure price" marketing where it's haggle free and what you see online is what you pay. Why not just take the trip up to the Mid-A area and buy a new one for around $15K? There are plenty of them in this area.

I don't like the xB, but at least it isn't just flat out ugly. I can see why someone would like it, but with the Element, I can't see how anyone could like it...

thanks for the help guys. a used scion for that price is a lot, but thanks for the effort airgate.

i didnt know this but scions have the saturn deal where the price is basically cut and dry. this would explain the lack of effort from a salesrep though. but, i mean i pulled up in a nice car. its not like i pulled up in a buick skylark(thats another story).

but, anyways...im basically just getting the scion to carry some tools in and to travel to car events. i plan on getting a black or a white one with TOPTUL on the side i also really like the ~32mpg it gets compared to the ~15 my landcruiser gets. i think its a good marketing idea. i honestly really like the inside of the elements. but, on the outside, um...blah. i also cant really justify spending 22k on a suv that cant tow anything.

fyi i test drove a scion xb, and i really liked it. im waiting for them to get in a manual though. i dont like how the automatic had no dead pedal and the only real complaint i have about the car is that the seats arent height adjustable. but, in all, its a good car for the money even if its a couple inches shorter than my s2k
