Default Service Question

Just wondering if there where any advantages in having your car serviced at the dealer you purchased from?
I've had my Prelude exclusively serviced by Hendrick Honda Charlotte with good results, but I purchased my S2000 from Honda of Concord. At time of purchase, they seemed very keen....can I say keen? in having my car back for it's service.
Just wondering if it's worth the 45min as opposed to 10min drive.
Thanks for any opinions...

Bought from Rock Hill. I had my first oil change at Concord because I live on the North side, 2nd oil change + x-brace install at Hendrick on South. Since Hendrick on South is 5min from the office and they are so nice there, I'm going to stick with them.

But for my 4Runner, I only go to Concord because the Toyota on South Blvd is horrible for service (Sonic Auto dealer).

It seems that dealer's mechanics generally aren't well trained to service the S2000. You'd think that Honda would train them to be top notch with their high performance car, but.....

Which dealer you go to for service depends on the training and skills of the individual mechanic. Do a little homework on this and save yourself some heartaches.

honda dealer down here does top notch work and havent scratched my car or dented it, it somehow got dirty as hell last time, no pics it looked like a red and brown spotted leopard lol. no clue on that but it was at the dealer 3 weeks for differential rebuild due to waiting on parts. Only complaint i have is they didnt know how to take off the shift knob and left teeth marks in it from some pliers oh well they ordered a new one for me.

BTW, when I said I used Hendrick, I forgot to mention that I decided to use them based on this recommendation.

Ask for Peggy, no complaints here, they babied my car and the tech Gary did a great job.
