Default Shady Valley

If anyone is interested I might be going up to shady valley this sunday instead of the regular sunday drive. It is roughly 2 hours away and is longer than the dragon with far less traffic and pigs. Clean and smooth pavement. We'll probably leave out of Greensboro around 9am so we can get there late morning and have plenty of time to run the road. Plan on being back around 5. If you haven't been before then you HAVE to go. Let me know if anyone is interested...

Interesting... I don't recall pigs being an issue on the Dragon.

Oh...oh...those pigs.

I've never heard of this road before...the Dragon still has it beat with 636 curves in 22 miles.

Don't you mean 311 curves in 11 miles? Or 622 in 22 miles and a u-turn? I thought the Dragon only has 311 curves?

Maybe we can have an event there.
The vids I have seen look pretty good. Lots of sweepers and it's close to Boone where accommodations should be plentiful.

It's also 100 miles closer for me.
