Looks good though...

I'd try and get an airbox cover as well to match maybe...

They'll have a matching cover in two weeks.

Ah, cool...

I thought about getting one and a cover as well before I found my deal on the CAI...
Idk the benefits of one, but it'll definately dress up the bay a bit I'd imagine...

Good buy! I had that cooling plate for a while. Two recommendations: 1) Clean your filter often (it will get dirty quick because of all the direct air that plate pulls in. 2) Remove the black plastic triangle in the front bumper. This will help increase air flow to the air box.

Good luck!

Matt, did you upgrade or just remove it for the FI?

Just removed it for the FI. I have a full cooling plate cover there now, because the s/c gets its air from the passenger side fender well hole.

Just a suggestion, I would also buy either a Spoon or a Muz Snorkle intacke as well. That cooling plate will work with it & does a great job

Muz doesn't make snorkels anymoe, and I don't think the Spoon fits under the plate. Either way, I don't like the design of the Spoon snorkel - I think it limits the air that can get into the engine. At any rate, thanks for the suggesttions though.

That's the one I have. I like mine.

If you have small hands and infinite patience, you will be able to get the port side #1 fastener off of the OEM one.

I learned new words in the process.
