I do what you do... I put around town and then every once in a while I'll get on it and smoke comes out. My car burns oil though... I top off my oil once every other gas fill up.

Mine seems to burn oil as well. I have to add a half quart every 500 miles or so.

Mine burnt oil too, but I drove the car daily to 9k so smoke was never a big issue. Did the dealer perform a cylinder leak down test? If so and they said everything was fine the its probably fine. I am a full time tech at a Porsche/ Jaguar Dealership, and honestly to me I really would not worry about it. I think the S2k is allowed to burn up to a quart every 1000 miles before its considered an oil consumtion issue. Enjoy your car.

i was running mobil1 synthetic and it burned oil like what ya'll are talking about. ichanged to castrol high mileage and the oil burn was cut in half. if your compression is low, add a can of restore. it works, i know cause i use it. it helps bring up compressions, slow oil burn and improve gas mileage.

Thanks for the feedback guys I didnt think it was really anything to worry about but just wanted to make sure. I also do a lot of city driving and just put around town a lot and I very rarely get on it, so I'm sure thats it. Thanks guys!
