is it true that SC pass turbo charge car? they dont do smog check? emisson or obdII?

Here in South Carolina, if it has wheels, its good enough for our roads. We don't even do inspections and windsheilds are covered free of charge under your comprehensive insurance.

jeeze.. dude thx alot.. i just turbo charge my car with the aem ems and 750cc.. no way it will pass in NC. i have a cousin that live down there i might have to transfer my car down there? is there a way i can register my car down there adn still retain an NC license or i have to get a SC license also? if i have to get a SC license, do i take the written again or just transfer? thx in advance

In order to have the car registered here, the owner/insurer must also have residence here.

but if i can prove residence in SC do still need a SC right there and then to register my car?

prove that you live in SC pay massive taxes like about 500 i think a year and insurance is a pain but no inspection is cool.. i'm about to transfer back to SC

well darn! now i am paying 350 for six months full coverage!
but i either have to take my turbo off for inspection or transfer it to SC
