I can’t make this weekend. I could stop by during the morning or afternoon on April 25 if you end up having a couple of us that could come by on the 25th (no worries if two weekends of folks stopping by is too much). Would also enjoy hearing about the May Dragon meet up experiences you’ve had in person since I’ve never attended. Thx again for your willingness to get a few of us together this month.

Sounds good. I plan to be there around 12. Ordering some pizza is a good plan for lunch if you have some some place nearby that delivers. Please PM me and whomever else might need your address.

drreid - There is a good pizza place, but I don’t think they deliver. Worst case girlfriend or maybe one of the new drivers in the house can be our Uber eats.

Sounds like there’s not gonna be a huge turnout, but that’s OK, whoever shows up shows up. I’ll help anybody that needs help. My tools are your tools unless I need them.

Let's give it a shot for April 25th if people are still interested.

I got to bleeding the front brakes this weekend. Will to the rears tonight after work and need to calculate mileage on the Diff & Trans which includes a trip to the Dragon. If anything I might swap the diff and let the trans run longer just knowing the diff can really heat up but I have now made sure to let her cool for a bit after each run.

Interested in joining on the 25th! I am new to s2k ownership as I just picked up my one owner, 100k example late last fall. I did a bit of maintenance/repairs when I purchased it and currently have VCG, spark plugs, valve adjustment, and TCT on my to-do list. Would like to put a Billman on my example but since I just signed up on this forum I may need to wait the 2-week probation period to PM him/complete my profile. FWIW I've mechanically rebuilt several e36 misc spec bimmers, one e46 M3 and a 986 Boxster S....oh and I'm employed by Honda as a PE development engineer so the s2k was a requirement it seems. Glad to be in the group, local in Durham NC.

So, you would want a Billman TCT? I have connected with him and was offered to be one of (2 or 3)TCT distributors for him but just haven't had the demand so never took him up the offer. If you are 100% certain you want one, I will re-connect with him and will get one shipped out to me and I will install it next weekend or another convenient time. So long as it's a stock TCT, I would keep the old TCT as a core. Last we spoke, he had 2 prices, one with a core and one without the core sent back. Not sure if anything has changed since.
Let me know. shoot me a text and we can talk more and I can give you my address. Two-ZeroThree-953-sixteeenEighty Seven.

Since we are on the topic, if anyone has an old/used complete factory TCT that they have rolling around the garage and want to re-home it. I will give you some cash to take it off your hands.

Going to close this thread as I think it's better to just postpone the Tech Day till May 9th. Billman250 should be here and we will tag team helping people and hopefully installing a few TCT's for those that want it.
