Well I finally bit the bullet and ordered a spugen exhaust. My first S2000 I kept stock but I am anxious to do a little after market to this one. I have been following the exhaust debate closely and finally decided on the spugen. Anyone in the Carolina group have a spugen exhaust? I hope I will get it on the car by the Wilmington trip.

I went with the oval mufflers and oval tips. I had to wait some for the tips,I spoke with the guy in Calif this morning and he said the oval tips are going out the door as fast as they can make them. Seems to be the most popular in the dual set up. Sure looks nice. Hope you will have your Invidia RSR by Wilmington.

 

We actually just picked up Spugen to become an official dealer of Spugen products. We haven't ordered anything form them yet but we're looking forward to when we get the first stuff in. Looking forward to the release of their new spoiler. Any chance you can run by when you get it, we'd like to see and hear it in person.

 

Thats what Duc said when I was on the phone with him last week,I wasen't quite sure where He was talking about but he did say someone in Raleigh would be carrying their line. I would be glad to come by as soon as I get it. I was hoping it would be here for the Wilmington run this weekend but I don't think it will make it. Maybe next week. There is some great testimonials on the fourm in the group buy section if you have not read about the exhaust, you should go there and hear what the people who have installed it are saying. how does the spugen exhaust compete with the other ones on the market such as Spoon, HKS and COmptech....is it really worth getting the spugen over the other? hows is hte performance of it compared to the rest, cause im also pretty interested in getting the spugen for price wise it seems really affordable....also doesnt it give only 5 hp...or would that be compared a lot for a cat back system.

Boneman, let me know how you like your spugen when it shows up. I bought the 'loose tip special' that they had in the for sale forum and should get it this week. I was going to wait a while and try to see it in person, but the price was right...
