Default Starting to work on my race car

its a shell no motor no nothing...
had it for 6 months in the rain and am back home where there is a garage and starting to strip the rest of the interior out...
wondering if anyone would lend a hand in making this shell into a race car..
i dont have a motor yet nor a tranny but i do have the oem diff and propeller shaft that needs to be installed... also with the engine bay i might take out unnecessary things such as ac lines etc etc...
cant give anything for the help and knowledge besides free meals and more experience...

Hi Mike,

You're in Cary, right? If so, I'm nearby and might be able to help here and there. However, you should know that besides being able to change oil and brake pads, I'm a mechanical newbie. I do follow instructions well, though.

Anyway, FWIW, I'd be interested in helping just so I can pick up more knowledge about the car.

I'm in Wilmy so I can't do anything on the spur of the moment, but if you organize a work day a couple of weeks in advance, I'd love to drive up and lend a hand.

I'll drag the mechanical guru HOTRODS2000 along with me also.

But I'm prolly only available on weekends....if your in Cary. Where ever that is....I'm still learning this state.

Let me know, I live off Cary park way close to kildair farm road. I can lend you some weak muscle that is about it... I can some simply stuff to my civics like pulley change, oil change, exhaust change... Nothing techinical though.

But I would love to help and learn!
