WTF!
Where do you get those at and how much? I was wanting to get a hedgehog but Id have to drive 3 hours away to get one and thats at the decision of the breeder, this could be a better alternative.

Most any local pet store would have them or be able to get them. The one I worked at several years ago would get them every now and then. They're interesting, but never did anything much while I was there because they sleep all day.
I had a roommate with them. They are not that much fun - expensive, nocturnal, need darkness, sleep when you're awake. Unless you have a forrest in your house, they won't be gliding anywhere. Get a ferret instead.

I want one, or a ferret. Sugar gliders smell less but I'd have ot keep it in another room as I'm not the best at sleeping with noises...
they're darn cute though and I love how they just crawl around on you for hours and don't seem to care, SUPER cute.

I had 2 before, cool creatures, but need lots of attention for them to be affectionet (wow sp on that one). We had to get rid of them because they started to attack each other. We had adopted them from a friends sister, she originally had 3, but the other 2 ganged up on it and ate him!! They will attack animals their size and smaller, but generally eat millworms and fruit nector (sp). So if you have lots of time at night go for it, but if you want a social life, wait till you are older and more likely to stay in then out, cause you will have some crazy creatures to deal with.
Best advice with Sugar gliders is if you like them, talk your friend into getting them. They are definitely a PITA. Sleep all day, odd diet. And the ones I have been around are very talkative when they are awake. They make a very odd noise. All in all they are very cool animals but they really aren't great pets.
