you also drive that car about 500 miles per year Star specs are epic tires but the most I ever got out of a set was less than 7500 miles.
Yeah but those where HARD miles. I am sure "normal" people could get 10K

Going to just toss in the suggestion of the Michelin PSS.

Heard nothing but astoundingly great things about them.

ZII's should be fine for normal street use without dying too quickly. I'm amazed that people have only gotten less than 7k out of them on the street given I got almost 10k out of my last set that was primarily used for autox and a couple track weekends, and most of the street miles were to and from events. Granted it was a different car that weighed a little less, but also had more power and highly modified suspension. I currently have 235/255 ZII* on stock suspension and love them. I don't drive the car that much and it's mostly an autox toy, but 2500 miles on the ZII*'s and they aren't significantly worn.

That said, whatever you do don't get the RE-71R's. By all accounts they are incredible tires, but longevity is not their strong suit. The track/autox section has a thread dedicated to them and the consensus is that people will need 2 sets to run a full season of autox. If that's the case you won't get enough street miles to make them worth it.

Thanks for all of your suggestions !

I am probably going to use one of the extra sets for Track Days and when I head to the Dragon...that will probably be the 17's.

I am not seeing options to go wider (than stock) with the stock 16's, at least with Extreme Performance/Max Performance rated tires.

Have any of you had good experiences with any 16" tires of sizes 225/16 front & 245/16 rear??? This set will be for 'spirited' driving and I'll swap these to the car, when my current Fuzion ZR1's wear out.

Thanks again, for your help!
