Tires
I need to replace my stock tires. I only drive my S2000 in good weather, no snow or rain. Whats the best tires for me to get and where? Also, what is the largest tire/rim that I can fit leaving everything stock?
There are many options to choose depending on whether or not you are staying with the stock rims. There are some good articles an the site if you do a search. I personally like the bf Goodrich kdw g-force but I am sure that others will chime in.
If you are looking for pure performance in a street tire, I'd go with the new Dunlop Direzza Z2. If you're on a budget then go with the Hankook RS-3. I suggest using tirerack to buy instead of the local tire shops which will charge you out the ass and likely won't have what you want. The largest tire/rim you could fit depends a lot on your ride height. On stock suspension I wouldn't go any bigger than 8" in front with a 225 tire and 9" in back with a 255. Some people recommend a fender roll in the back for those sizes but you shouldn't have any problems. If you're lowered, anything wider than stock will require a fender roll.
Also, you would have a lot more luck posting this in the Wheels and Tires forum and reading up on some of the posts/stickies there. Good luck.

You might look at the Tire Rack section on tires, new tries. I ordered a set of BFR, Rivals for my S they come in verious sizes and are new. Tire Rack will ship the 255's the end of March, they have the 225's in now. These tires tested the fastest in testing last month in LA at a test held by BFG against Dunlap and others.
